The First Anniversary of United Content Hub: Ukrainian cinema reaches a new level

On November 26, at the Parkovy Convention and Exhibition Center, the production company United Content Hubbrought together partners, directors, actors, and other representatives of the Ukrainian film industry to summarize a year of rapid growth and to announce new ambitions.
Over the past 12 months, United Content Hub has developed a recognizable signature style — large-scale production, strategic distribution, and the development of international co-productions with a focus on the markets of Central and Eastern Europe. Key partners present at the event included B&H Film Distribution, YULA Company, Between Media Agency, and JetSetter.ua. The evening was complemented by Italian sparkling wine Serena 1881 — “Taste elegance.”
“A year ago, on November 26, 2024, we sent our first letter announcing the launch of the company in the European Union. Our goal was clear — to support the Ukrainian film industry, attract investment into Ukrainian content, and launch projects capable of competing not only at home but also abroad. Some may have considered this too ambitious, but we approached it very seriously. The team stayed focused and committed to a result that speaks for itself,” said United Content Hub CEO Andriy Nohin.

“This year, we managed to build a co-production map covering eight countries — from Croatia, Romania, and Bulgaria to Latvia and Turkey. We attracted more than 100 million hryvnias in foreign investment to Ukraine, and our films were seen by about 450,000 people in cinemas alone. But our work goes beyond numbers and theaters. We are happy and grateful to have begun collaborations with all major platforms and leading TV channels in Ukraine. Thank you for supporting us. Here’s to new meetings, new projects, and new victories!” added United Content Hub co-founder Oleksii Lymarenko.
ʼThe main part of the evening was a series of presentations of upcoming films. The studio showcased teasers, pitches, first frames, and fragments from films currently being produced and promoted by the company. Among the presented projects were “When Will You Divorce?”, “Dovzhenko,” “Corporate Party,” “Christmas Guardians” (in collaboration with 1+1 media), and “HUR. Sikora’s Code.” Each fragment was accompanied by commentary from the creative teams.Participants of the presentations included: Akhtem Seitablaiev, Oleksii Komarovsky, Semen Horov, Antonina Khyzhniak, Kseniia Mishyna, Maksym Samchyk, Tetiana Malkova, Oleksii Honcharenko, Illia Parfeniuk, and Anna Docheva.
A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of Parfeniuk’s “Corporate” music video, which became the main soundtrack and teaser for the film of the same name. During the event, attendees also discussed the results of already released projects and the company’s future ambitions, including expanding international initiatives and launching new production directions.
